Even though this range is not used by all doctors, the normal range for TSH is 0.3 to 3.0, high results indicate hypothyroidism. Your TSH results have indicated that you have become better not worse. There is a rare form of hypothyroidism, which is caused by a failure of the pituitary and not the thyroid. That would be the only explanation of your TSH going down and you becoming hypothyroid. The pituitary makes TSH and that tells your thyroid to produce T4 and T3 hormones, which regulate your metabolism. Your pituitary does more than just this.

You need to see a doctor and have a full thyroid test. They need to test for T3 and T4 hormones to see if you have become hypothyroid. They also need to test for other things too. Find an endocrinologist (thyroid and metabolism specialist) and tell them you need to see them right away. You symptoms sound serious and you need medical help.

I am not a doctor, just someone who had their thyroid removed after cancer.

TSH is a lousy test for thyroid because it changes throuhout the day. If you tested in the morning and in the afternoon the same day, you'd have 2 entirely different readings. if a TSH is done, it needs to be done first thing in the morning. I recommend a free t4 and free t3 as well, as these are the actual amount of hormone in the blood.
