just keep going-you will get through this!
Love seeing doctor’s on YouTube, its really great to see things explained in detail.
ive got all those syptoms… minus the constipation.
I’ve had Hashimoto’s since I was a kid and went undiagnosed until about 19 or 20 yrs old. My thyroid barely works (Free T4 is -.10). My life has gotten so bad now because of it and problems with the local community that I stopped taking my thyroid meds last April (’08). My insides are just now starting to hurt like everything is starting to slow/shutdown (or maybe just bloating). I have no other choice.
a lot of people i know have had great success with the iodine supplement called Atomodine. you can get it online at caycecures . com
you need thyroxine…you need to be eased back onto it…please see your doctor, as a serious coma could occur
I did what you did once, and I lost hair and got so weak I could hardly walk…
maybe you could Google ‘Thyrolar’ which is t3 and t4 combined…I am thinking of switching after nearly 19 years of levothyroxine.
please realise that iodine could make some people who have hypothyroidism worse…
we’re not speaking of just slightly under, as some have, but an actual disease, sometimes because of auto-immune issues.
I recommend that people do not take iodine without consulting their doctors.
I have Hypothyroid and have a problem gaining weight. I hear of people gaining weight with Hypo but I don’t. I have had Hypo since 1995 my weight was normal until 2001 and I lost 51 pounds and look terrible. I just wonder if there’s anything I can do that will help my weight get back to normal?
There is an iodine supplement called Atomidine that is available from
caycecures . com
you can also look Atomidine up on W i k i, there is a lot of good thyroid info on there about it!
I’ve always had little tolerance to heat and cold, and a propensity to gain weight (I’m really heavy now).
My voice is now so deep I can barely speak. It started a few years ago, now it’s really bad.
I have hypothyroid ive just been diagnosed with it. Im on 50mg of thyroxine at the minute have to have another blood tests in 6 weeks.
How long did your endo say it would take to return to normal?
i was diagnosed with underactive thyroid 10 years ago? am suppose to take 100mg day but never remember so i can take six a day then none all rest of week? i have loads energy most of time? untill they can giv an injection to cure it? i dont suppose ill ever rember to take it every dy? but hey!! I am not dead?? still so verry alive and kicking
I had the same prob till i got a moblle phone that i colld set a reminder on it to go off at the same time every day and i allways keep my meds on me incase i end up staying in a friends
I have been living in a fog for the 3 years I have been taking Levothyroxine, putting on weight and lethargic howerver all tests said I was ok.
The instructions say,”Take with water before food”. That is what I was doing.
I have now found out from the internet that you must take them with water, on an empty stomach, at least 1/2 an hour before food.
At last I am out the fog, loosing weight, better sense of smell and taste and raring to go.
The packet instructions are misleading and dangerous
This is why I dont trust pharmacutical drugs! Who knows what derivatives are in there. I take 100% pure natural kelp. I purchased mine for 6 dollars canadian from my grocery store, here its readily available. It comes from the sea, its natural. No side effects. Just follow the back , 1 a day. I have taken this and feel much more alive, much more better, no fatigue, no constipation, nothing! I finally feel good again!
Go to a natural medicine practitioner. Orthodox pharmacutical drugs will balloon you up! Look it up its called naturopathy. I dont believe in drugs, they never helped my symptoms for colds, weightloss or acne! Or anything. The only time i actually took it, was when i was admitted to a hospital for salmonella. But trust me on this. NO SIDE EFFECTS!
I’ve had an Underactice Thyroid for over 2 years and i’m on Levothyroxine and each time I go back to the doctors I think they are going to tell mer I need a higher dosage because my symptoms are still with me but I’m always told all my levels are fine. What am I doing wrong? I take my tablet at 5 each morning and don’t eat for at least one hour afterwards. What else can I do? I’m so sick of always being tired and crappy
look up Armour on the internet and look at the site called stop the thyroid madness,
i had suffered like you for 5 years
try organic iodine or virgin organic coconut oil.
This is the best way to boost your thrydoid.
I don’t have all the symptoms of an under active thyroid but most of them, awaiting the result of a blood test. I hope it is under active because of the weight gain, hair loss, tiredness, having to clear my throat or cough to clear it before speaking etc….
I have an under active thyroid. But, it was first diagnosed as subacute thyroiditus. I went over, then under, then over, then under. We chased the symptoms and the bloodwork results for over 2 years. The worst symptom I had was red face, dry skin to the point of peeling, and always in a brain fog. Very Very forgetful, loss of memory and weight gain, constipation and tired. Now taking 0.75mcg of Eltroxin, 4 weeks to kick in. Best I have ever felt in 2 years. Male, 35, Police officer.
thank you
Im using synthroid (0.0075 mg) for many years now and I lost a lot of hair.I decided to stop for a month and see how I feel.
@SixFigureIncome77 - or quite possibly the fastest way to cause it crash completely
