It is something that needs so be supported daily with medication. I have Hashimoto's disease and will be on medication for the rest of my life because it means that my thyroid is dying. Hypothyroid means your thyroid is not producing enough thyroid hormones and hyper means that your thyroid is producing too much hormone. There is no cure for hypo or hyper thyroid disease.
