Getting hypothyroidism corrected was life changing for me. Finding a doctor took me 10 years. I highly recommend Mark Starr’’s book and Holtorf Medical Center (2 offices in CA) in you need help.

2 books I recommend to patients: Hypothyroidism Type 2 by Mark Starr M.D. and The Thyroid Solution by Ridha Arem. The second book focuses on the connection between hypothyroidism and mood disorders such as depression/manic depression. Doctors should add Safe Uses of Cortisol by William Jefferies M.D. If cortisol levels are low you can’t optimize thyroid function.

No wonder cause 1 and 2. I was fat and my doctor was like “Your fat that your cause” But then I got check and I have type 1, im loosing wieght slowly and I am eating the same.

I had my fillings removed not to long ago and I can definitely say that my “silver fillings” were the true cause. If you have hypothyroidism and have “silver fillings” I highly suggest you to look into it.

I went to my doctor because I was feeling fatigued and had a blood test done. The doctor told me I had an elevated TSH level so I decided to look on to this. The sad thing is that people are having to be on pills for the rest of their life because doctors don’t want to help you just put you on synthyroid for the rest of your life.

Mercury poisoning is linked with hypothyroidism. If you have amalgam fillings or silver fillings, which are on average 50% mercury you should look into that.
