Dude you rock!

I currently am recuperating from pituitary surgery and recently found out that my pitutary was not making enough tsh. It's sad that most doctors and endocrinologist's are so woefully ignorant about the pituitary.

Some physicians are trained in the proper technique but they are rare. I have trained a few. Many hypothyroids are low in whole pituitary. This has to be added first then the thyroid is added last usually at a much smaller dosage. R. Forbes

I have this, my legs wouldn't work and I couldn't walk. It started to affect the other muscles in my body. I went to hospital and later found out tha tis was Hypothyroidism messing up my Potasium levels.

From being quite bulky with a muscluar build, I've lost about 20kg over the last year and looking skinny.

If anyone has weird weakness in their legs - go to the docs and eat some fish, bananas, kiwi fruit and oranges in the meantime. If you have underactive thyroids, lay off these foods.

OH! The synthroid crap doesn't work for me either. Im currently in winter clothing, with thick wool socks and slippers... My feet are still freezing, along with my hands. I constantly feel tired, I'm 17 and weigh about 126lbs. I workout often, and as a result I have lots of muscle which contribute to most of my weight composition. However, I continue to strive for less-fattened abdomenals.

Ya, mine's hypo, I'm currently taking Levothyroxine Synthroid as for my medication. Yes, this sticks with me till the day I die. Hooray. I'm looking into getting a thyroidectomy sometime in the near future. Still have to do more research on that.
