Hypothyroidism
The Page technique is described as a method to treat hypothyroidism. The anterior pituitary gland is seldom treated and it is often under functioning in hypothyroidism. Thyroid should be added last and only after the anterior pituitary is functioning properly. Sometimes thyroid is not necessary at all. www.pittsburgh-dentist.com and www.gethealthcaresolutions.com

thanks
Very informative. Thank you.
Hypothyroidism as well as diabetes and other degenerative diseases are treated all wrong in the U.S.If hypothyrodism was treated properly why are most of those who are taking synthroid still have cold hands and feet. R.F.
I was diagnosed when I was 13 and still feel the same tiredness, lack of concentration, cold hands and feet, bad skin, etc. It would be great to find something that actually works. Are you a dentist?
I am a dentist and I balance body chemistry for dental health reasons. Sometimes thyroid problems are associated with an under active anterior pituitary. Page only used natural thyroid and he balanced the anterior pituitary gland first if it is needed. Thyroid is added last and sometimes it is not needed. R.F.
I was diagnosed two weeks after i was born Im 17 right now is it true that people that have hypothyroidism are usually overweight? Im only 125 lbs is that normal ?
There are many people if not more who are normal weight that have hypothyroidism.
I have hypothyroidism but my condition is quite rare as i have been told. I have the gland but its as if i dont have it as it does not work atall. I have to take 1 tiny tablet for the rest of my life and if i dont then i can get seriously, seriously ill. This has been with me for all my life and i feel i am underwaight because of this.
You should get my book The Hormone Mess and How To Fix It and measure yourself and determine your inherited glandular pattern. You can send me your figures and I can give you an opinion, N.C.. R. Forbes
I have been on syncrap (synthroid) for 10 years and I have always had cold hands. I am disappointed with our health system. My general doctor and my endocrinalogist kept saying my hormones were optimized despite my long long list of hypo . Both did the general test like checking my TSH and T4 and T3 blood work. They said it was all in my head because blood work was normal. Until I found a holistic doc who thought to check my Reverse T3, and my FREE T4, 3’s. my body was not converting.
Where are hese holistic doctors? I also have good blood results. Oh, to have good skin, hair, nails like others. To be able to have more energy and stay up past 9 without major cognitiv slowness!
a lot of people i know who have thyroid issues have had great success with the iodine supplement called Atomodine. you can get it online at caycecures . com
Ya, mine’s hypo, I’m currently taking Levothyroxine Synthroid as for my medication. Yes, this sticks with me till the day I die. Hooray. I’m looking into getting a thyroidectomy sometime in the near future. Still have to do more research on that.
OH! The synthroid crap doesn’t work for me either. Im currently in winter clothing, with thick wool socks and slippers… My feet are still freezing, along with my hands. I constantly feel tired, I’m 17 and weigh about 126lbs. I workout often, and as a result I have lots of muscle which contribute to most of my weight composition. However, I continue to strive for less-fattened abdomenals.
I have this too and it sucks! I have gained so much weight! I used to take levothyroxine and that was horrible so now I am on synthroid which seems to be helping but I really wanna be able to loose weight again! I gained 35 lbs freshmen year of college and I haven’t been thin since!
I have this, my legs wouldn’t work and I couldn’t walk. It started to affect the other muscles in my body. I went to hospital and later found out tha tis was Hypothyroidism messing up my Potasium levels.
From being quite bulky with a muscluar build, I’ve lost about 20kg over the last year and looking skinny.
If anyone has weird weakness in their legs - go to the docs and eat some fish, bananas, kiwi fruit and oranges in the meantime. If you have underactive thyroids, lay off these foods.
An underrated underresearched illness that needs to be taken seriously so we can get on with our lives we need a Take the Thyroid seriously day.
Some physicians are trained in the proper technique but they are rare. I have trained a few. Many hypothyroids are low in whole pituitary. This has to be added first then the thyroid is added last usually at a much smaller dosage. R. Forbes
Dude you rock!
I currently am recuperating from pituitary surgery and recently found out that my pitutary was not making enough tsh. It’s sad that most doctors and endocrinologist’s are so woefully ignorant about the pituitary.
i used to be skinny BUT THEN stupid Hypothyroidism had to ruin it!! now im fat im chuby & i cant lose weight i try &try & my 15 is cominq D: tear tear
@liu12ish Contact someone who knows the Page technique and get your pituitary corrected first and you might also need thyroid but the pituitary has tro be corrected first. R.F.
