You need to go see your doc for a check-up asap.
It would be difficult to diagnose your symptoms without proper testing & blood work. Your dosage might need to be re-calculated.

You shouldn't still be bleeding, Perhaps your dose of synthroid isn't strong enough. See a doctor FAST!
I've been hypo for 15 yrs. Before that hyper for 4 before the doctor figured out my tremors and rapid heartbeat.

You need to let your doctor know you are having side effects from the Synthroid. The doc will decide what to do but he can't read your mind so call him and report the side effects to him.

See your doctor, hon, it sounds like your medicine needs adjusting. Breakthrough bleeding can be a symptom of hypothyroidism.

Definitely see your doctor he may need to check your hormones again. Don't know how long you've been diagnosed w/ hypothyroidism...but your doctor should at least check your hormones every year, if not every 6 months.

I'm a little confused by your question. Did you mean to ask about birth control pills and not the Synthoid? Sythroid shouldn't have anything to do with break through bleeding. Synthoid helps the symptoms one has of hypothyroidism.

If you aren't on birth control pills, you might want to look into being tested for PCOS. Many women who are hypothyroid also have PCOS. PCOS can make you have a lot of problems with your periods.
