@greenpalmtreeful 10 years olds may eat so much junk and be overacid and need alkaline water or kanga water or if you can’t get it eat a lot of cucumbers for alkaline blood, never drink a soda, it’s too acid for the body. If you have cold hands and feet and hair is falling out and no energy and weight gain you probably have the disease. Depression can come from lack of protein synthesis. AVOID wheat, corn, milk, and cheese and eat potatoes, and fish or meat, NOT together, separate meals.

@bayani33 Luggol’s iodine the strong one I took a few bottles of it and stopped overeating, replaced chips with potatoes and butter, and tyrosine, and Gaia herb liquid phyto caps are good, you can call the company and order a half a gallon, they will make quantity. I guess it will rebuild itself. A better tasting iodine but expensive is from purebulk dot com and it’s called Atomic Iodine. But the most you can afford. to protect your thyroid from nuke, stay on potassium iodide all the time

i wish i never did the radioactive treatment. I should’ve waited. ! now, 2 years later, I am 40 lbs heavier, and have all the hypothyroid symptoms such as fatigue, weight gain, headaches, depressed a little because of the weight gain. I miss my old self back. I used to hike every weekend during summer time, now I have zero energy to do it. any advice? on what worked on people?

I have been absolutely miserable since I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. The medication makes you gain weight as it says in the side effects of “increased appetite” and “changes in appetite.” Also headaches, weight gain, depression, foggy thinking, rapid heart beat, etc. It is the worst fate to have a thyroid problem as you will never again feel like yourself.

I have gone from overactive to under active after radation treatment but am now stabilised. still on medication

Interesting - one major thing they forget to mention is STRESS is a big factor. I had Graves Disease and no drugs, no surgery no radiation.
