my mom just got diagnosed.. she is over weight and has trouble walking because she get tired very easily and her legs always hurt. She get out of breath very easily…
I have Hashiomoto’s and auto immune disease that is destroying my thyroid. I take medicine for it everyday but there is alot of room for improvement. As far as how I am being affected by this the list goes on and on. Muscle weakness, chronic fatigue,anemia,heart palps, dizziness,joints ache especially knees and elbow and my bones actually hurt if pressure is applied on them. I am now defiecient in Vit B12, Vit D and iron. There is no cure for the disease and they don’t treat it. The best they can offer us 27 million people of thyroid disease is medicine that takes forever to optimize our bodies.
Yes, I struggle with fatigue, weight gain, muscle aches and pains, dry skin, irritability and the list goes on!
i do have "hypothyroidism" although it wasnt allways under-it was over for quite sometime.
i take medication everyday for it, and as long as i stick to it faithfully, i have no problems. If i skip a few days, i get dull headaches, and tired.
